Even though I'd seen them a couple of times before, the girlfriend, my brother and myself took the opportunity to see the great Foo Fighters again on a Wednesday night in November! It was a cold night and we had to queue outside the arena for a couple of hours before the show to make sure we got to stand right to the front, but it was worth it. The support band, Serj Tankian, were also pretty good. We also got to see Dave Grohls wife and little baby girl as they walked passed us at the front of the arena. His little girl was wearing big ear muffs to protect her from the loud noise her daddy's band was making. At the end of the show some Foo Fighters guitar plectrums the band were using got thrown into the crowd, my brother and the girlfriend managed to get one each… which is a nice bonus and souvenir. A very good night! |

1. The all important Foo Fighters tickets. We managed to get 2 for the face value of £30, but had to get the third ticket from ebay at around £50. Not bad seeing as they sold out within an hour of going on sale. Nottingham (2007) |

2. The stadium starts to fill up. All the fans that queued up outside in the cold get let in first. No pain, no gain. Nottingham (2007) |
