For a week in October we decided it would be exciting to go for a nice long drive to southern Europe… through France and down to the south of Spain! It was a really great experience that cost quite a lot of money and a lot of driving was required but was well worth it for a once in a lifetime experience. The map below shows the route we took. On the way back up to the septic isle that is Great Britain we made sure we visited the Normandy beaches where the Allied troops landed on June 6th (my birthday) in 1944. We drove a total of 3200 (approx.) miles. |
